An unwanted hot tub may need disassembly or cutting before it can leave the yard. Photos of the tub and the full removal route help establish a workable scope.
Electrical service must be disconnected by a licensed electrician before removal begins. We do not perform that electrical work; arrange it separately and confirm completion before the appointment.
Prepare the tub before removal day
Arrange licensed electrical disconnection beforehand and follow applicable guidance for draining the tub. Tell us whether the tub is freestanding, built into a deck, or connected to other equipment. Do not assume cutting can proceed around live wiring or unidentified connections.
Review disassembly and cutting
Depending on construction and access, removal may involve separating components and cutting the shell into manageable sections. The method must be reviewed before work starts. Deck demolition, structural changes, and unrelated plumbing work are not automatically included.
Measure the route to the truck
Show gate openings, steps, narrow side yards, slopes, and overhead obstructions. A tub behind a fence may require a different approach from one beside a driveway. Confirm permission before using a neighbor’s property or altering a fence.
Include the base and surrounding area in your photos
Photograph the tub's base and any visible gaps between the shell, deck, and fence from a safe position. Note whether covers, steps, or loose accessories should also leave. A shell-only request differs from clearing those additional pieces. Identify surfaces and nearby features that must remain, and request a separate assessment for anything attached or concealed. Do not remove panels or reach into equipment compartments to obtain estimate photos.

What to expect
- 01
Send photos or call
A few pictures and your ZIP code are enough for a load-size estimate. Larger commercial jobs can get a walkthrough.
- 02
Pick a window
Call to check same-day or next-day availability. Confirm a time that fits your property access; same-day service depends on scheduling.
- 03
Price confirmed on site
The crew reviews the actual items and carrying route, then confirms the scope and price before loading.
- 04
We load and haul
Lifting, carrying, loading, hauling, and standard disposal. You point at what goes; we handle the rest.
Furniture removal planning

Before pickup day (optional, but helpful)
- A licensed electrician must disconnect electrical service beforehand.
- Show the entire route, not just the hot tub.
- Discuss cutting, component removal, and any surrounding structure separately.
- Confirm the tub is drained and ready under the agreed preparation plan.
Questions we hear
Do you disconnect the electricity?+
No. A licensed electrician must disconnect the electrical service before removal begins.
Will the hot tub need to be cut apart?+
It may. The construction and removal route determine whether disassembly or cutting is needed.
Can you remove a tub built into a deck?+
Send photos for review. Any deck alteration or demolition requires a separately confirmed scope and may need another contractor.
What access photos should I send?+
Include the tub, gates, steps, side yard, and truck parking area. Add measurements for narrow openings if safely available.
