A storage unit cleanout starts with deciding what leaves and what stays. We remove contents so you can consolidate storage, prepare for a move, or work toward closing the rental.
Coordinate with the facility before booking. Gate access, elevator rules, office hours, and the distance from the unit to the truck can all affect the pickup.
Confirm authority and facility requirements
The person authorizing removal must have the right to dispose of the contents. Ask the facility about contractor access, loading locations, and any required check-in. We do not bypass locks or settle disputes over stored property.
Create a keep area before loading begins
Separate documents, valuables, and items going to another location. If you cannot sort everything beforehand, describe that limitation when requesting the estimate. Mixed boxes and hidden furniture can make a doorway photo an incomplete picture of the load.
Leave time before the rental deadline
Schedule removal with enough time to address anything outside the approved scope. Confirm the facility’s own move-out requirements directly; removing contents does not automatically close the account or complete its inspection process.
Plan a partial cleanout without moving retained items twice
If you are keeping a row of boxes or a large cabinet, show where those items sit in relation to the contents being removed. Identify anything behind or underneath them that also needs to leave. Tell us whether the retained pieces can stay in place during loading. This helps distinguish a straightforward pickup from a unit that needs additional sorting and handling.
How pricing works
Unit dimensions alone do not determine the load. Send photos showing depth, stacked contents, and large furniture for a more useful starting estimate.

What to expect
- 01
Send photos or call
A few pictures and your ZIP code are enough for a load-size estimate. Larger commercial jobs can get a walkthrough.
- 02
Pick a window
Call to check same-day or next-day availability. Confirm a time that fits your property access; same-day service depends on scheduling.
- 03
Price confirmed on site
The crew reviews the actual items and carrying route, then confirms the scope and price before loading.
- 04
We load and haul
Lifting, carrying, loading, hauling, and standard disposal. You point at what goes; we handle the rest.
Furniture removal planning

Before pickup day (optional, but helpful)
- Provide unit number, gate instructions, and facility access hours.
- Mention upper-floor units and long interior corridors.
- Confirm account closure and inspection requirements with the facility.
Questions we hear
Can you empty only part of a unit?+
Yes. Clearly mark retained contents and explain whether items behind them also need to be removed.
Can you access the unit without me?+
Discuss authorization and facility rules first. Access arrangements must be approved before the appointment.
Does removing everything close my rental account?+
No. Contact the facility to complete its notice, inspection, and account-closure requirements.
How should I photograph a packed unit?+
Take safe views from the doorway and both sides if possible. Describe contents hidden behind the front row.
